Race-Day Conditions

The temperature at start time is typically around 40 degrees F and creeps to the mid to upper 60s by the time you reach the finish line (unless you run really fast.) Winter time in the desert southwest can sometimes bring unseasonably warm temperatures (like 1995's cozy finish temperature of 83 degrees F!). Make sure you are well hydrated before the event. Warm temps or cool, a happy marathoner is a hydrated marathoner.
