2010 EVENT UPDATES:

NEW 2010 COURSE MAP POSTED TO THE SITE:  Please check out the course maps for the Tucson Marathon and Half-Marathon events.  While the Half has seen only a slight modification (near the finish line), the Full Marathon will no longer utilize Biosphere Road.

ELECTROLYTE REPLACMENT: It will be chilly when you board the buses for the starting line, but you should be hydating properly on race morning as it will warm up quickly once the sun rises.  The offiicial on-course drink of the Tucson Marathon Events is XOOD.  Please be sure to stop by their booth at the EXPO for samples and information about this amazing new product.  __________________________________________________________________

FINISH LINE

As in previous years, the Tucson Marathon and Half Marathon will finish at the Coronado Midlle School (3401 E. Wilds Road, Tucson, AZ 85739).  Food from Damascus Bakeries and Whole Foods Market and refreshements from Pepsi and Tucson Water and will be provided for runners at the Finish Line on race day.  Spectators can purchase food and refreshments from one of the food vendors that will be on-site starting on race morning.  

Shuttles will return competitors to their respective hotels and parking areas.  Please look for the signs directing you to the return shuttle area.

RACE MORNING RUNNER PARKING:

MARATHON / FIRST MARATHON RELAY RUNNERS: If you are NOT staying at a hotel that offers direct shuttle service to the MARATHON starting line, you MUST take a shuttle bus from Ventana Medical Systems (1910 E. Innovation Park Drive, Oro Valley, AZ 85755) to the official race starting line.  Parking will be available at Ventana Medical, however, we ask that you please be patient and follow the instructions of the volunteers and police officers.  Parking randomly along roadways and side streets will only add to the congestion.  Please arrive early to avoid missing a shuttle. 

HALF-MARATHON COMPETITORS: If you are NOT staying at a hotel that offers direct shuttle service to the HALF-MARATHON starting line, you MUST take a shuttle bus from Canyon Del Oro High School(25 W. Calle Concordia, Oro Valley, AZ 85704) to the official starting line of the Half-Marathon.  Please follow the instructions of the volunteers and police officers. Parking randomly along roadways and side streets will only add to the congestion.  Please arrive early to avoid missing a shuttle.
